The competition took part 18 competitors from 13 companies, of Baia Mare, Bucharest, Capusul Mare (Cluj County), Comarnic (jud.Prahova), Cluj-Napoca, Onesti (jud.Bacau), Sibiu and Vista (County . Cluj) - see also the attached summary.

Also attending were:
- Approx. 20 delegates from companies that have sent competitors
- Approx. 30 delegates from the sponsors
- Approx. 10 officials from APIPL, EAPT P + F and AF Construct.

Competition has also received approx. 70 visitors, mostly delegates from some wood flooring installation company, in Alba Iulia, Bistrita, Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Constanta, Oradea, Zalau and other cities.

The competition started in 19.10.2007 with:
- Registering competitors
- Presenting cutting machines MAFELL circular floor and briefing their competitors to use
- Training of the competitors on labor protection rules
- Welcome Dinner, during which contestants were shown briefly, the model will have to make him the next day.

The competition took place in 20.10.2007:
- Between 9.30 and 13.30 am installing floor in the form required and displayed in two rooms of competition
- Between 14.30 and 15.30 at oil floor finishing specialist.

During the contest visitors could admire and vote freely chosen work that 11 of the 18 contestants were presented works that were exhibited in the lobby before the examination room, caught up with offers that sponsors who have exhibited products in three specially equipped rooms.

After contest judges:
Heintz Brehm in Bamberg, Germany, President EAPT P + F and referee, Constantin Cadar Comarnic, John Bodor of Zalau jud.Prahova and remained for more than 2 hours to deliberate and to designate the top three, others we being classified places (thus all the deserving occupants of fourth place).

That same afternoon, President APIPL, Stefan Alexander proceeded to open ballot boxes and counting of votes of the 11 works, sculpture, being assisted by Ciprian Onose, member of the board of APIPL and Cristian Oltean the Merit Group of Sibiu, prominent member of APIPL.

20.10.2007 evening was reserved for a party that marked brows relaxed all the effort and focus of the day.

On the last day, starting 10/21/2007 at 10 am award ceremony took place, opened by Alexander Stephen who spoke in the name and then name APIPL Thomsit - Henkel Romania, then took the floor and the three referees and participation diplomas were handed to all competitors.

First prize was awarded special prize for youngest competitor, given the Casimo Ionel Chitulescu Bucharest, competitor age 18 (born 07/14/1989) and which was higher by only 50 days or business colleague, Florin Tudose, the award was granted by Alto Costruction Materials, special sponsor, the executive director Dimitris Kitsopanidis.

The second prize was also a special prize, namely the consolation prize, third prize, awarded by the sponsor Henkel Romania, by Mrs. Diana Giurgiuvanu, Razvan Constantin Ghiuta from Katmus Comarnic, Prahova County.

Than expected following prizes:
- Second prize awarded to Michael Moghior 25 years, from Romskan Onesti, jud.Bacau
- Awarded the first prize of Tiberius Ionut Botoaca 24 years, from Katmus Comarnic jud.Prahova.

These two young floor fitters will represent Romania in the European competition shingles flooring that will take place in Salzburg, Austria in the period 31.01 - 02.02.2008, enjoying the free travel costs incurred by APIPL, as a prize.

Occupants of the first two places have received a watch from Mr. Heintz Brehm showed that at Track (translator was John Bodor, one among the Romans) as one of the most important things in business execution is timing.

Tiberiu Botoaca Ionut has also received a special prize awarded by Stauf EN-outs, particularly sponsors, the commercial director Radu Pocse.

In his speech of thanks Ionut Botoaca Tiberius showed his gratitude to his mentors, and Michael Constantine Cadar Ghiuta respectively from Marius Filipascu that helped participate in his first training course abroad, in Italy.

At the end of festivities, Ovidiu Badea, coordinating director of Mapei Romania, sponsor special prize for the best work freely chosen, it is the work of Marian Bran, 22 years, from Floors 4 You, Baia Mare.
